Has any body else had a Selberg body crack like this?
Funny but I took his clothes off to look at strenghening his body on the advise of a puppet builder. Guess I was a bit too late. Out with the glue!

You might want to try Gorilla Glue...it foams up and has an incredibly strong bond....

Mine is still okay.
What cause that crack? Pulling the control too hard & far or else? |

I don't know what caused it. You have to be carefull what glue you use as some of them will eat right through water it's made of!

On some of my Selberg's it's a tight fit getting the head off and on the body. Have to rotate the head to find just the spot where levers clear the body. Forcing on or off could have caused the crack.

Maybe beter ask Tim Selberg what to do and what kind of glue should be used.
Buy another body is also an alternative. Mine is also tight fit, I should be possing the lever in certain way to make it off the body. |
