Sometimes dreams do come true. Learned the the knuckleball by watching video of Wakefield and then gets to meet him.

One of my favorite books, "Ball Four" is about a knuckleballer. Awesome pitch, when its working-when its not its like a change every pitch..

She's just been signed to the Chico Outlaws in the Golden Baseball League. I'm not exactly sure how minor this minor league is, but it still must be pretty good, right?

The Golden Baseball League is an independent league approximately equivalent to a Single A or rookie ball league. She's not officially part of any major league organization, but she'll be pitching to players that someone who knows something about baseball signed to represent their team.

Well, she's had her first outing. Gave up 4 runs, drove in a run in the first inning when she hit a single (that must have been a great feeling) and her team won 8-6.
She rated her own pitching 20 out of 100. Outlaws general manager said it takes 4-5 years to develop a major league knuckleball...
