Is there busking in Albany New York?

Well, I've heard Albany is really only alright when there is a festival of sorts.

Forget Albany for Busking. It's a spread out City, lacks tourism and without a lot of foot traffic.

It's a dead town. Buffalo's hoppin.' I've seen buskers on Elmwood Avenue (one of the hipper areas). I wonder why none of the locals who attend FFFF busk? I believe you can get a permit for a cheap too, but I could be wrong. The only problem is, the season is SHORT.
