If you guys have never heard of TED, check it out. They have their talks on Itunes, and youtube-and several iphone aps. Everything from Lennart Green to Bill Gates.
A recent one I saw was Blaine talking about how he held his breath for 17 minutes, and how they thought they could do it with a trick. (The tube footage is crazy). Search itunes for TED Blaine, or TED talks Blaine. Good stuff all around.

While checking out TED, also see the talk by JJ Abrams. He's the guy behind Lost. He talks about the "mystery box" principle as related to his methodology for storytelling. It's based on a box of magic from Tannen's that is decades old and that he has never opened.
