I remember the stories behind the painting, no the names so much. Art was a boring class anyway

That was wild and weird and cool all at the same time. But I have just seen how un- cultered I am.

14. But the painter not always the masterpiece.

Thanks! I really loved that.

After a couple more views, I found one more. Not in order of appearance:

Munch, Da Vinci, Carravagio, Botticelli, Michaelangelo, Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Gericault, David, Magritte, Mondrian, Delecroix, Chagal.

Nice going Whit.

I'm ashamed to say the Delacroix was in my list of misses because that fantastic flash of red in the flag was not there...(perhaps the fact that the young woman had not fallen out of her dress might also have had something to do with it Smile)

On the other hand, I did get the Dix painting, only because an old girl friend was obsessed with the guy...

The full list is here (with pictures) if you've got one on the tip of your brain.

I had gotten them all but the Holbein (not done at all well) the Dix (don't think I'd ever seen it before) and the Cimabue (as it was just too generic of a religious motif, they tend to all look the same to me)

I'm suprised Whit didn't catch the Frida

Its an old idea anyway, they used it in strip shows etc years ago.
