I have recently heard the buzz and decided to give the site Chatroulette a shot. The site can be very fun and for the first few days I chatted with people about.. well, everything. If you are mature enough to put up with people doing less then favorable things on camera I suggest you try it.
Well just a few days age I was working on a multiplying ball routine that was still in its rough stages. I like to multitask so thinking nothing of it I went on Chatroulette. I talked with a few people and then decided that I wanted to show the guy my very rough routine. I performed it for him and he said he liked it. Great I thought. And then it dawned on me that this site could be used as a testing grounds for new material. You do not know the person you are talking to and they do not know you. The internet can be a savage place where people do not feel that manners apply so they will sugar coat nothing. And best of all if you mess up all you have to do is press next. The performance is really under your control and you don't have the youtube instant replay working against you. I also like the fact that you can see yourself. This gives you all the same advantages of a mirror. I must have performed the multiplying balls a hundred times yesterday having to adapt to mistakes and performing at different angles to the camera. If I flashed a move the stranger told me and I was able to correct it. I still feel I have a long way to go on this routine but my moves and angles are considerably smoother. So like I said, If you have the time and are mature enough give this method a chance. I find it works great and I hope it will work for you. As always, Dylan |

Sounds like a good idea, as long as the routine is far enough along to avoid exposure. One good thing, I guess, with the vid is you should be able to tell that before you post...
Also known, when doing rope magic, as "Cordini"
