Just as a reference to anyone who is requested to perform out of the blue then there are many 'human body' effects you could use and which I enjoy using such as:
-Freak by Will Houston
-Control by Wayne Houchin
They are especially powerful I feel (especially if you can prove you have no gimmicks attached to your body) as hey are using a biological human body to perform miracles and they are also especially visual some of them I feel.
Check out some body effects for out of the blue performances!

I had a HUGE interst in Body Magic for a long time.

I loved performing Dis-jointed. Always killed! Ben Harris's Silent Running, I believe, should be included in Body Magic. The Angel/Devil on the shoulder is wonderful cuz performing it one on one it can be scary -- but in a crowd it's just funny as all get out. There are also a whole bunch of Strength Tests out there. Some, I think, are a lil simple and easy to figure out. But there are some winners out there.

Check out John Fisher's Body Magic. Covers Hypno-tricks, Body Mechanics, Psychic material, Muscle reading.

As a kid I always loved my Grandpa doing the old disconnected thumb trick. Not sure if it has a proper name..?

Will Houstan's Freak is my favorite. It is a great routine, which I do all the time for people. The visual shrinking of the pink is my favorite.

What about the fork in the eye gag (I think Mac King's?) and the neck twisting sound effect (also Mac Kings?).

Does the old ashes on the arm effect count?

How about some of the old strength effects, ala "The Georgia Magnet?"

I had forgotten about a lot of these. I think it is always great when someone asks you to do a trick, and you can pull of something without props.

I have an effect called What the Flux that allows you to change your recorded body temperature on an ungaffed digital thermometer.

here is the review of it.

Check out a book called "Body Magic" by John Fisher. Its an old one so you may struggle to find it. It got some great stuff in there.

Here's one...
Ask someone to move their right foot in a clock wise circle while at the same time drawing a number six in the air with their right hand. Their foot either stops or it changes direction! Try it yourself!
How did you do?

Another fun trick that is impossible for someone to do is
a) look up at the sky
b) close your eyes!
c) stand on one leg
d) for 15 seconds
no hopping allowed!

Let me know how you did! Keep your head looking up the whole time. there is some good science behind all of this!
I have never met a person that could do this. This a fun warm-up for the audience, just like the previous stunt.

I tried to stand like that and failed miserably. I figured I could at least wobble my way to 15 seconds but I almost took out the computer, so I put both feet on the ground and took a seat. Not all that magical, but it's entertaining.
