Bamboo Island is the secret home of the Voodoo High Priestess and her army of zombies. With your boat's name, it should be able to fend off the zombies. Good luck and have a safe boat trip.

Tabman… remember when fighting off zombies always go for a head shot and double tap (shot twice to finish them off).

And I still have a bunch of nice Chop Chops in all sizes still available too if somebody wants to order one from http://BambooChopCup.info and with this next haul of giant bamboo I should be able to keep them in stock from now on.

Wow! A real Voodoo Priestess. Have you tried showing her the chop cup routine? I wonder what her response would be.

Duraty's magic is much better than his English: I consider him as one of the most creative French magicians after Gaetan Bloom

I don't see Gaetan as often as we both would like to, but we are like two distant living brothers, who really enjoy catching up every time we have an opportunity. I have a taste for kind people. Nasty guys may feel realistic and smart in their own eyes but they never improve anything in the world and they are not fun to be around. Gaetan is fun and he moves the world of magic. I'll tell him about your kind words.

Gaetan Bloom is a very interesting fellow. I have only seen him once. That was at TWGMS at the Greek Isles about 4 or 5 years ago. I introduced myself to him after the show. It was like "old home week." I had translated some of the German instructions for his tricks into English for Joe Stevens and Harold Voit. One of them was the "Potty Pumps." It's interesting how the British ignore the secondary meanings of words when they put titles to things. To an American "Potty Pumps" are something a plumber uses to clear out a drain.
I enjoyed Gaetan's performance immensely.

I forget what year it was, (more ethatn 20 years ago) but Gaetan and I were on a show together at the Sporting Club in Nice, France (Christian Fechner was there too) and we all became friends... Gaetan is, along with Tamariz, one of the funniest and most creative guys in magic.

All you Bamboo Chop Chop guys out there take heed. Don't leave your bamboo chop cup in the sun all day. I did that recently with a number of newly cut ones and forgot about them. Usually I dry them in the shade in the shop. I noticed that Id left them in the sun a couple of days later and 4 of the 10 had started cracking. Finished cups in the shop on the chop cup shelf are still perfect some after months of being there.
Sooooo. Hot, south GA sun (or anywhere else for that matter) for extended periods is not good for bamboo cups. Also working out a neat routine using my gimmicked fishing bobbers will be on video soon for fun. I'd will supply a set of those props to a real cup worker (not me, Im happy with my niche) soon just to gauge the merit. More from Bamboo Island later.....
