Does anyone know who this is? Joanie Spina sent me these links and I thought they were too good to not pass along. I must say the first one is quite possibly the worlds best Asrah Levitation.... ;-)

Omgggggggggggg. How embarrassing! Is this for real??

To me it looks like he purchased an illusion or plans the same day he performed them.

Awfully humiliating. Wow. I feel so bad for this guy.

Thanks for the hilarious post W_S_!

According to an Italian magic friend, Casanova is the best-known magician in Italy (for the lay audience). He does a lot of TV stuff and he made is success with his mistakes!
He's famous as the "mistake-magician".

Don't hate because you don't have his dashing good looks, production budget, magic babe, and cool props!

Actually I think a lot gets lost in translation. It's funny and makes sense if you are Italian.

Basically Casanova is doing the same thing that the Spanish magician "Garcimore" did already years ago, except that Casanova is using more stage effects and illusions and that Garcimore never gave away the secrets.

Garcimore became famous on French TV in the 80s by missing all his magic tricks he did.

His look doesn't go well with comedy. I guess he's trying to act like the smooth magician with the nice girls and the love thing and just screw up on everything he does..

I'm not a fan... Did yall see the other clips? like the hand box on the table..
To me that wasn't funny.

I guess the only thing an act like this would really be good for is a magic convention to make the magicians laugh at his short comings...

Yah, I stopped laughing when I realized that he's intentionally gaining notoriety by exposing real methods to non-magicians.

He almost had a contract in Vegas. He was advertised and promoted, but he didn't even open. I guess a lot is explained now.

Don't compare with Garcimore.
Garcimore was missing his tricks voluntarily, he had a comic character.
Casanova want's to be Copperfield, but without the talent and rehearsal.

Arnomagic,

My comment wasn't really to compare both of them.

I'm just saying that this guy is maybe trying to do something that somebody else did already and way much better. It could be fun trying to be a Copperfield comedy magician, but I rather prefere watching a David Chesterfield which looks stupid and doesn't hurt the magic community than this guy.

The thing that I don't understand is how this guy can be famous in his country. Is nobody telling him ? Isn't he watching his performances ? Does he bother ?

This is the godawfulest piece of doodoo I have ever seen in my life.

Maybe he should go back to his old job as a piccolo. I mean a gigolo.

That was like sooooo bad. And it is nothing about "the looks". Looks? Model toothepaste for cryin' out loud! And if that comes out better if one knows Italian, I don't think so.

Not much danger of him revealing anything.
Everyone is running for their lives.
