Hey Guys and Gals,

I will be lecturing for SAM #136 at the Z Mansion which is located at 288 N. Church Ave. in downtown Tucson, AZ April 5th, 2010

For more info you can contact Mike Deschalit at mcdmagic@aol.com

There will be something there for everyone. Here is a blurb about it:

INNOVATING DECEPTIONS - A Lecture by Max Krause

Are you a Close up Worker, Mentalist, Children's Entertainer, Stand up or Stage worker?
Do you want to set your magic or Mentalism apart from the rest of the crowd?

Do you want to be a performer and entertainer instead of a puzzle demonstrator?

Have you ever wanted to be more magically creative?

Do you want to learn how to take what you already know and apply it in ways you never
thought possible?

If you answered “Yes” to any of the above questions, this lecture is for you.
Max will be sharing several of his personal effects and the thinking and
inspiration behind them. There will be something for everyone from the
novice to the seasoned professional.

In this 2 + hour lecture, Max will be sharing and demonstrating effects from his personal shows such as:

*The Bill Lie Detector B.T.I.L Mentalists Dream Box
*Unholey SSK A Poker Story
*The Paradiddle Principle P.M.S. Magication

These are but a handful of the many effects that Max has created, and Max will show you how to make and use some of these secrets. There will be lecture notes available which will include how to make The Bill Lie Detector, Unholey, A Poker Story, Use of the Paradiddle Principle as well as several other thoughts and tips on the creating and performance of magic and mentalism. In addition, Max will have his entire product line available at the lecture, as well as special pricing for lecture attendees

About Max: Max Krause was sitting in his living room watching Marshall Brodein as
"Wizzo" on the Bozo show perform his latest feats of legerdemain and was completely
and instantly forever hooked. Right then and there at the very impressionable age of
10, Max made his decision to make magic a full time vocation and 28 years later, with
countless shows under his belt, Max continues to practice the art he loves so much. He says “practice” because you never stop learning. He is forever a student and a
teacher with over a dozen releases for the magic/mentalism community to his credit.
He has two websites, one specifically for the public and one specifically for magicians because he is a firm believer in keeping his secrets secret. He loves all aspects of the art from intimate sleight of hand, mentalism, illusion, and everything in between. His very simple yet extremely complicated philosophy is "Always be thinking" because he knows there is no such thing as "too perfect." Every piece of magic is always a work in progress. To that end, Max will always endeavor to better the art he loves so much.

What others are saying…

“Max's thinking outside the proverbial box is refreshing and innovative. He understands the importance of simplicity and hiding the simplicity of the method within the routine, it is this thinking that allows Max to fool you. You will use his creations.”
- Banachek

- “Max is a strong performer and a very creative young man. We collaborated on his take of my effect, Serial Killer. In fact, his take left my effect in the dust. Every time Max comes up with something new and original, he blows my mind. His Dream Box is just that, an ingenious, devilishly clever device for mentalists and magicians who want to look like mentalists. If he happens to land near your backyard, whatever you do, don't miss him. Max Krause will make your head spin with his magical creations."
- Larry Becker

“His devious mind continues to come up with methods that leave spectators with their jaws gaping. Part of me wishes he would keep some of these ideas in the shadows. They are too good to be brought out into the full light for all to see.”
- Doc Eason

“When I first experienced Max's A Poker Story, I knew I'd met a creative genius. Max's entire philosophy is to take not only classic ideas and enhance them, but to also invent some of the most innovative and practical effects I have come across. Max's lecture will really get you thinking in a whole new direction.”
- Eric Jones

“His creativity is a breath of fresh air that stands out in this world of magical redundancy. I'm currently using two of his wonderful ideas in my own programs. That is the highest endorsement I can give! I suggest you spend an evening attending Max's new lecture. You will be fooled and just might end up looking at your own magic through a wider lens!”
-Jon Stetson

I just saw Max's lecture last night and it is definitely a great time. I wish I had the brain to think up the ideas he's come up with AND the time to take these ideas to fruition.
