Hi, everyone.
I was on the Alakazam USA site ( http://www.alakazam-usa.com/search/?keywords=rubik ) and I noticed both Enchanted Cube by Daryl ($36.00) and Insta Cube ($68.00). Are they both the same effect (at least in the eyes of the audience)? Do they both, in fact, utilize the same (or essentially the same) methodology? Are they the same effect (jumbled up cube is "solved")? Do they both use the same methodology? With Insta Cube being almost twice as expensive as Enchanted Cube, I am wondering why the price difference and I'm also wondering if Insta Cube is worth that price difference? Thanks for any info in these regards. Mike

The effect is the same but the method is different. The Enchanted Cube can't be examined after performance but Insta Cube can be examined after performance (after ditching gimmick).

Yeah I had Insta Cube, pretty cool trick. You are clean and it is a real cube that you can hand out. But make sure they don't mix it up and ask you to do it again. If they do hopefully you are good at solving it quickly for reset lol. I sold it for like $30 on eBay awhile ago though because I did not want to carry it around at restaurants, and you need to be real careful with angles. So for me it there was too many hassles for that venue. But it works great one time in a close-up show, and not so bulky to carry around. The instructions are kinda sketchy, and the video link did not match the moves properly, or the colors were off on the cube I think. Seemed like he was doing a reverse one or something. But I figured it out eventually.
The great trouble with magicians is the fact that they believe when they have bought a certain trick or piece of apparatus, and know the method or procedure, that they are full-fledged mystifiers. -- Harry Houdini
