Steve Bargatze was involved in an accident this morning on the golf course and is presently going through surgery right now. I don't have anymore details, but please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers today.

Steve got pinched between a golf cart from another golfer and a tree and caused a very nasty break in his lower leg. Steve went through the surgery to reconstruct his leg just fine. He will be getting out of the hospital on Sat. and will have 8 weeks of post surgery rehab.

I thought maybe he was playing a round with Gerald Ford but then I think President Ford has passed on.

I think the guy in the other cart was as old as Gerald Ford. Went by and checked on Steve yesterday. He was watching the Masters. He was doing as well as could be expected but was still in a lot of pain.

I think a note would really help.
