Well, today I turned the big double nickel.
I feel great for my chronological age. Been blessed all these years by only having to be in a hospital twice in my life. Anyway, I want to keep young as long as possible. I'm no Jack Lalanne, but I do watch my diet. I want to share my concoction for my morning tonic, and was wondering if any one else here uses a tonic and would be willing to share their recipe? Here's what I have been using: Cup of warm water with as much cayenne pepper powder as I can stand, (90,000 heat units) 3 tablespoons of Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar, tablespoon of pomegranate juice concentrate, few drops of Hawthorne berry concentrate, tablespoon of high dessert bee pollen (optional as it makes the drink taste kind of crappy.) I also use the tonic to wash down a couple morning resveratol capsules, and a tablet of "Garlique" brand concentrated, odorless garlic. Anybody else here have a recipe for tonic that they would share?

But start out with small doses and work your way up! (or you could be in for some PAIN!) Actually, the cayenne will loosen the plaque and junk in your arteries, strengthen the heart muscle, but the apple cider vinegar will do wonders for the joints.

Doug, first off, Happy Birthday!
OK, so I've googled four of your ingredients. It seems you're very concerned about your heart. Every one of the things I googled had some relationship to heart health. On the other hand, none of those ingredients had any scientific studies supporting them. Not only that, but I found a list of the top 20 antioxidants as rated by the USDA and none of your ingredients was there. Which brings me to my question: How and why did you happen to choose that specific set of ingredients? |

Happy birthday Doug
Why exactly do you drink that stuff? YUK I start off my morning with a hand full of pills, a bowl of cheerios, and three mugs of cappucchino.

I drink it as a preventative. I'm determined to avoid the top three western "lifestyle diseases" like diabetes, heart disease, cancer,.
Just simply trying to take a pro active stance on my own health. I'm at that age now, where people get hit with one or more of them. I guess basically, I just don't want to be a victim.
