Hello the Spooky, the Mysterious, the Bizarre Folks!
You’re the first to hear that I’m finally completing my first book and have found a publisher who’ll help polish the project. No timeframe yet, but wanted to let you know. It will probably be called: “Tales of Enchantment” the art of magic The fields of Bizarre and Storytelling Magic have largely been written about from a close-up magic perspective. “Tales of Enchantment” opens the genres to include parlor, platform, and stage presentations, even a few presentations for Illusions. Theatrical Magic generally has not been considered “commercial” but these audience and time tested presentations are as commercially viable as you can get, many having been created for corporate and business audiences, all having been performed at upscale venues. Walt’s techniques, essays, and original routines are presented in full with nothing held back, and represent decades of polished material for the magician just beginning to explore the possibilities of Story Magic, or the seasoned Bizarre Mage. Here you’ll find ideas and inspiration in a wide variety of voices, to suit almost any period or style of magic from the very dark to the whimsically humorous. Magically, Walt Walt Anthony, Conjurer & Teller-of-Tales |

Spent the entire day with my buddy Brian Scott, taking many photos of all my odd, arcane, and original props that will be included in the book.
The idea is to transform these actual pictures with the magic of Photoshop, into facsimiles of old line-drawing or etchings, such as those you might find in a dusty Charles Dickens novel. My amazing proof-editor Kelsey is working on my grammar and making the manuscript ten times stronger than it might have been without her careful hand. I'm so excited to get this to my publisher before the end of June so we can release it in time! Thanks again for everyone's support, Walt |
