My book has shipped to San Francisco,
and I should have them by next Wednesday (hurry, UPS driver, hurry). Meanwhile I'm making shipping plans to get them to my support/editorial team after that. And I believe most if not all the pre-orders have or will go out from the publisher soon too! Almost there.... Walt |

Guess what I received today....
Mr. Anthony, congratulations. I can't wait to read this. I fear I will be completely unable to do anything else until I do. |

I got it.
Ordered the hardcover edition and received it today. Had a chance to thumb through the book. It is a beautiful book which is well written and fascinating. I have occasion to pm Walt and like his responses, the book is intelligent, articulate and reflects a spirit of sharing. Great job, and may it break all records!!!! |

Got mine yesterday. I'm resisting my urges to flip through and taking Walt's advice to read it from beginning to end the first time through. I'm only part way through it and I'm very impressed. Not only are the presentations top-notch but the book in general is very thought-provoking. Thank you Walt.

Glad to hear the early comments on this book and glad you all like it! I really found it quite inspiring myself... creatively, magically and personally.
When you have time, please feel free to post a review in the book review area! ALL current orders for this book are shipped. So, if you don;t already have it, look the middle of next week. In another two weeks, your favorite dealers should also be able to supply. Dean

Best of luck with the book. Considering Walt and his knowledge and the Leaping Lizard books put out before this one should be great.

Congratulations Walt! The book came today and after a brief look I see it's a gem.
Thanks Dean, for the way the book was packed. I hate getting a new book and the corners are dinged due to poor packaging and mail handling. The mailman did his part, stuffing it in the box, but the book is perfect in spite of his attempts. |

What a very odd sensation it is --while reading the book you wrote-- to feel you've never read it before.
As if just maybe...some close friend wrote it, but most of the content is totally unfamiliar to you. Discovering things anew, that you as author, must have known before. Rather perhaps...like someone with Alzheimer's who can hide their own Easter Eggs? |

I was a postal casualty :-(
but my copy is on the way! 3-6 more days of waiting on pins and needles and waiting for the mailman each day. Walt, Starhawk made a similar statement when she commented on the 20th anniversary edition of the Spiral Dance.

Gentle Reader,
As yet no one has stepped out to write a review of the book. Of course its official release was only two days ago, so it would be on of the pre-pub readers who bought an advance copy. Maybe I don’t really want to hear whether someone thinks it’s “The Good, The Bad, or The Garbage” as the Café section is called… Maybe I’m lucky ignorance is bliss. If it’s not liked (and it’s not everyones’ cup-a-tea I know) or if someone thinks it’s a waste of paper (because I’m so %$@&* opinionated) then maybe I don’t even want to find a review. On the other hand, if one reader finds one idea or thought of value, it makes sense that a future reader might find something of value there as well. I know in this tight economy, with so many places to put our money, several guys are waiting to hear more before they make a buying decision. I’ve tried to answer a lot of PM’s about content and style, but that’s not an unbiased opinion. Sooner or later I’m going to see the book talked about in the Books, Pamphlets & Lecture Notes area, and I’ll say I’m nervous, but ready to hear those frank, honest, and informed thoughts on what I’ve offered. You are welcome to read more about the book's particulars on, http://www.leapinglizardsmagic.com/tales_of_enchantment.htm where you can download a sample PDF. Still on pins and needles here, Walt |

Walt,
See my earlier post in this thread for my initial impression. I haven't had a chance to finish the book yet for a proper review. I'm not sure how much weight my opinion will carry since I'm unknown here, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. George |
