Penguin is selling it on their site now. The ones they have are not the autographed copies. (site says they will sell those, when they receive them from Oz)

Oz is a great magician.
If the DVD has his material, this will be a hit. |

Yeah I am going to get it as soon as I can get one of Oz's signed copies. Is he selling this yet?

Penguin is selling non-autographed DVDs right now, and their site states that the will announce a promotion when they receive the autographed copies from Oz.

Oz brought a copy of his DVD to a jam session that we had yesterday. He's really done an outstanding job with this project. The DVD is well-produced, and the effects are terrific.
I'll be posting a full review later on today . . .

Are the autographed ones cheaper than the non-damaged ones?

You guys are going to love this DVD. It is a high quality production that is chock-full of great card magic - visual, workable, entertaining material (and beautiful "spectators", wink wink).
I like the format - first, all of the performances, then all of the explanations (rather then performance, explanation, performance, etc.) This way you can watch this video through, get a feel for the material, choose the items you want to work on, and learn them. Oz has provided very clear explanations of each the moves and effects featured on the DVD, making it a snap to learn from this DVD. Oz has already said that this project is aimed at an "intermediate" audience, and I must agree that you should have some experience handling cards before attempting the effects on this DVD (since basic card handling is not explained on this DVD). There are more effects on this DVD then you might find on the average DVD release (especially some recent ones), and that is a big plus . . . But don't worry (I know what you're thinking) - there are no filler effects, no fluff moves, no routines or sleights that are just taking up space on the DVD, and that is an even bigger plus. Oz has worked hard, and given us tested material that we WILL USE.

Honestly I think there is much better material out there.
I might get bashed for this but hey Im just giving an honest opinion. I have NOTHING gainst OZ, more power to him getting his material out there. Seems like anyone with a digital camera, time and some money can put out a DVD, trick, or some gimmick. Have some of you read what you post? Seems like whatever NEW comes out in the market EVERYONE is going to buy it NO MATTER who made it or how much it costs. Then what happends? EVERYONE and their MOTHERS are doing that effect a few times here and there then it goes into the drawer never to be used again... (I can say im guilty of that). Some of you should think about what you spend your money on. Go to the classics, lost and forgoten, if you want strong effects (No one else is doing them) Vernon Chronicals, AOA, Apocalypse for an example. But hey Im not there to tell anyone what and what not to do. Just telling you how I feel real honest opinion. No hard feelings Oz nothing against you.

Full Effect can you offer some details about what you don't like about the DVD?
So far I don't understand your view, but I'm willing to try if you can offer some sound reasoning other than, "I just don't like it, don't hop on the "new" stuff bandwagon, this will end up in a drawer...ect...ect..ect.." Also, the AOA books and Apocalypse series don't really fly under anyones radar to me. Everyone has these books, is planning on getting the books, or desperately wants these books. AOA is the most discussed book on this forum! As for Vernon's stuff, well, we should all be spending a lot of time learning his material anyway.

Its funny how Full Effect talks about people buying current releases but meanwhile, he's holding Ninja Rings in his hands in the pic. Maybe he really likes the DVD and tells everyone its crap so he could be the only one to do the effects.

iamslow has an intersting theory, there.
I don't mind someone slamming a DVD, but more specifics are needed. Chirs

Its not that I don't like the DVD..
I did even think I was Slamming on the DVD. My issues are with people these days basically buying whatever new is out there. Like I said before I was guilty of that("Ninja Rings") I live in LA and see Shoot almost all the time. I've maybe performed Ninja Rings 10 times and I doubt I will be performing them anytime soon.
