Is there a place to get the plans for Smash & Stab or an effect like that?
Does anyone have this? Do you like it? Reactions Good? Anyone do this on the street? Thanks ![]() |

I'm not aware of a place to get the plans, though I do believe the apparatus and routine are reasonably priced for what you get. I bought mine on sale from Hocus-Pocus for right at $100, I think.
I like it, but haven't used it on the street. That said, I think it's a great idea -- the secret would be harder for spectators to figure out because of the added distractions in that environment. |

Smash and Stab is 4 round wooden disks, 1 has a spike sticking up. The magician turns his back, the spectators rearrange the disks and cover them with paper cups. The magician turns around and smashes the cups without stabbing his hand.
Its similar to "this is your knife" but MUCH cheaper. ![]() |
