Mike from Minnesota sent me a link to a you tube
video of a couple of young kids on a spanish
speaking TV show.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJ3G8t8pwEw&feature=channel

The kid only did one effect but closed with
a miniature zig zag using his assistant.

Mike thought it would bring back memories because...

My dad made the first miniature zig zag when I was
four. We sold it later to a magician in Kentucky. In my
hunt to find old illusions, I contacted him to find out
what happened it to it for my book project and unfortunately
he doesn't remember who he sold it ttoo.

Being so, Jeff Hobson told me that he tells many people
about the miniature illusions my father built for me.

It took 30 years before another miniature zig zag to
be performed. (From my knowledge)

In total my father built 3 1/2 zig zags until I was 20.
And he never called it the zig zag he called the
"Girl In Pink"...

As you see why:

I don't think the reporter even caught the costume change. That was real cool to watch. Thank you for posting it.!

It looks like the spanish builder didn't build it like the Harbin version.. no S***E and the doors are on backwards.

The version Frances was in, Harbin would have been proud of.

I was 22 when you did that. Yes, we are older. Time Flies and the next generation is about to take the reigns.

My father built his zig zag without using any plans.

He said that he was trying to figure out how to build
it and it took quite awhile.

I've also heard other stories concerning the uproar
surrounding who first built it...very interesting.

Jeff Hobson told me the stories MANY times.

I have used my children in shows too. Temika started jumping into illusions when she was 6 years!!!

She's getting married in a week. Where did the time go???

My youngest daughter who is 7 has some interest now. We've been talking about a few minitaure props for her for awhile.

Nice to see the video Marshall : )

Three years old? I'm guessing this would be the "hand-held" Temple of Benares!

Haha not "hand-held" although that'd be cool.

technically my first appearance was 10 days old
at Abbott's Magic Get-Together... and that was
definitely a "hand-held" appearence.
