With the the exception of Roth's DVD that details sleights/routines for all kinds of boxes, what are other good sources for routines with the slot box?

Doug Brewer's Coin Box Killers contains several routines using the slot box.

Thank you for the reference. There are 13 routines total in Doug's book; 2 for the slot, 8 with standard box, 1 for boston box, and 2 non-box routines.

I guess you are referencing the DVD: David Roth - The Ultimate Coin Magic Collection volume 2.
You could also try - DVD: New York Coin Magic volume 10. DVD: Coinvention Book David Roth's Expert Coin Magic Book: UN Coin Box Routines - Scott Guinn I am sure there were a couple of downloads somewhere too? |

Coin Nut, which Coinvention DVD are you referring to. I looked at the contents of both and did not see routines for the slot box.

Can't remember - will check DVD.
How about Coinsomnia by Bill Citino, routine "Comin' Outta The Box" where he suggests using a slot box in the Alternate Handling section ? |

As somewhat of an aside> A Slot Box is a very effective way to vanish a coin and leave it in a "holdout" position in presenting a Coin In Nest Of Boxes routine.
The marked coin vanishes and you can remain clean until you're ready to steal it... Julie |

Apologies, the routine was not included on the DVD set.
From what I have read, David Roth performed 'out with four' with a slot box. Dan Watkins refers to it in his review of the 2003 event - http://www.coinvanish.com/coinvention.html#COINvention |

Actually, out with 4 uses a standard okito, and out with 5 uses the slot.

It is available on the Coin Magic page of my website, and it has some unique applications that I haven't seen elsewhere. Not tootin' my own horn here (too much!)--just want to let those interested know where they can get it if they want it. The ebook contains two routines with boxes and International coins. The first uses a slot box, the second, a Boston box.

The David Roth "Live in London" video has a fabulous slot box routine. It is the only one I have ever needed.

Is this video the same as on the DVD: Stars of Magic 9 - David Roth ?
This DVD includes video 14 "Live in London" and video 15 "Live in Philidelpha " from the original series. Just asking as I no longer have a video player... |

Live in London has 2 great slot box routines. David does his Classic In and Out routine and a slick copper silver routine.
Definitely worth watching. TC |
