Hi,
I am looking for more coin gaffed or ungaffed magic in forms of DVDs or books (preferably DVD's), which would help me improve. To help you understand what my level is, I will give you a list of my current 'library' of coin magic (most of which I have already mastered): Intro to Coin Magic + Easy to Master Money Miracles vol. 123 by Michael Ammar Coinone and Cointwo by Homer Liwag Modern Coin Magic by J.B bobo(DVD and book) Sick by Ponta the Smith (It's challenging, but I'm working on it). |

Hello Reelin Welcome to the Café!
The New York Coin Seminar series contain great material... but if you really have mastered all the material you have listed then I would say you have enough working knowledge to really try just making up your own stuff which is best I feel. Hope that helps! Cheers J |

France has been producing some very good magicians with a different angle (as Spain or Holland did). Some of them are known internationally but not all of them for they may not be at ease speaking in English. Thus I convinced Duraty who, after Gaetan Bloom but in a different style, is one of the most creative French magician, to let me translate his life's work in English and have it published in the US.
I started the work, including a large section on coin work and, upon completion, my American friends will be in for a treat.

If you've got some of the basics, you're looking to improve, and Ponta's DVD doesn't scare you, it's about time someone told you about a little-known DVD (in spite of the banner ad here o the Café) that actually focuses on the stuff you need to know, like: the things most people get wrong when they're doing coins through the table, the most common mistake when people start writing their own routines, a theatrical presentation for "Hanging Coins" and the right and the wrong things to do once you've produced a jumbo coin.
The routines presented on this DVD are suggested "fixes" for these common problems, and more. Modesty forbids me from touting the name of the salty sea dog who captains this DVD, but keep yer scurrvy eyes peeled for a banner ad about a coin magic DVD with a Pirate theme. There are a lot of DVD's that will show you how to get to the next level. This one also shows you what it's like when you get there.
Is THAT a PALMS OF STEEL 5 Banner I see? YARRRRGH! Please visit The Magic Bakery
