Someday we will all leave this existence, that much we can all agree upon...
So my question is... How would you like to be remembered?

Amazing you should ask that! Amazing coincidence, indeed! Because I was telling my fiance just yesterday or the day before, and it really made me emotional as I said it:
I have been to a lot funeral viewings. Just recently, a young friend who had seemed to be in perfect health, yet there he was, in profile, laying there in that casket. Cold. Still. Motionless. It hit me hard. I mean it deeply affected me. It always does. Older people are one thing, but when you are looking at the empty shell of someone who was young and seemed to be so vital a couple days ago, it hits you in he face as a striking reality that that casket is waiting at the end of EVERYBODY"S journey,. and not a single one of us knows when it will be. "Put your shoes on in the morning, undertaker takes them off at night." AS I was telling my fiance, if that was me laying there, and my friends and family were looking at me, cold, stiff..I would want to be remembered for ONE thing.(Even above my magic tricks.) I would want them to say "He LOVED." That's it. Simply that I loved and was loving. That I was a guy who was filled with love, for my family first, and for others second. (And God of course, above all.) That's it. Just to be remembered for the way I love.
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.

Coincidence? No, imho...
I prefer to see it as a blessing in disguise... It just shows how much alike we all really are, regardless where we are from on this planet. What pains you, pains me. I was thinking of the same things as you as I typed that question... God bless.

At my X wife's fathers funeral there were more than a few cheap women in attendance that when they passed the coffin did not say anything to the family. It became quite apparent to everyone that dad died with a lot of secrets.

It seems I've made some nervous to answer thus resorting to jokes to deflect the question unto others...
So... How would you like to be remembered?

A friend of mine died at the age of 60, I went to his memorial service, his whole family was there, but a surprise guest showed up that nobody knew. He was the 40 year old love child of the dead man, and they looked exactly alike. I will never forget seeing his brother turn white as a ghost.
