Will wont tell,he's saving it for a dvd and seems to be the only one who has pitched them. Don Driver provided a link in a very recent post on where to buy them. $4,20 per dozen ($0,35 each). I also found a wholesaler in China at $0,18 each, but then you must buy loads.

I guess you simply 'splat' the piggy against or (down)on a board.

Hey Magic-Sam

Here is some information that may prove helpful in your quest to do splat balls.

Here is a video of Will selling splat balls and the flying card:

Also here is where you can get the same assortment of splat balls he is selling:

In the video it looks like he is trying to sell to many items - people can become paralyzed by too many choices, and find less satisfaction with their purchases.

I'm not sure what Will is doing, but I agree with Sam's comment about selling too many items.

I initially tried to sell a variety of small magic tricks. Don Driver advised against it, and I learned the hard way that at least in my case, Don was right. Now I sell three items, period -- the Svengali Deck, the Magic Worm and the Money Paddle. Less to carry around, less inventory to buy, less to demo -- and I'm making MORE money than I was before. By concentrating on the good sellers and dumping the weak ones, you can focus your business where the most sales and profits are.

The other disadvantage of having too much stuff is that people want to see everything demoed before they decide (which takes up more of your valuable time). Then they can't decide anyway, which just wastes more time.

In fact, even though I have six different colors of Magic Worms, I only put out three different colors at one time. Why? Because a lot of the kids can't make up their mind what color worm they want! When that happens, I just say, "The purple ones are very friendly" and that usually does the trick. SETH

I agree with Seth sideshowsam, the video is of my spot I had at a swap meet for a few months, where I had some regulars who wanted different stuff and I just wanted to experiment selling different items.

For my spot this memorial weekend I 'll be at the national orange festival in California. I booked two spots, one for splats, one for magic(3 item pitch.)

Thanks everyone for your feedback, I really do appreciate it Smile
If I was to sell the Splat Balls I would just sell the Splat Balls, at the moment Im only selling Magic Worms and wont have a stall where I sell two items.

I think you could combine the splat and worm as long as it wasn't too busy, since they are booth short demos and around the same price point and could do a combine deal.
