I recevied this information about a upcoming auction, thought you might find interesting.
John Cowan’s Auctions is pleased to announce the public auction of several historically important items we feel may be of interest to you. Both items will be offered in our upcoming June 11, 2010 American History Auction. The first is an archive containing Tom Thumb’s boots, kepi, pants, topcoat, and vest, to be sold as lot 375. The ensemble was acquired directly from Thumb’s “valet,” B.F. Sellers. Lot 376 is a sixth plate ambrotype of Tom Thumb’s “fairy” carriage and miniature horses and lot 377 is Tom Thumb’s personal valet’s CDV album. http://www.sideshowworld.com/Auction-Tom-Thumb-6-2010.html |
