BizCard (Be like Bond)
The hippest and hottest way to hand out your business card! Someone asks for your business card and you say that you are all out but "there is an App for that". Launch BizCard and print your business card right on your iPhone screen. Move the card around the screen and then actually produce it from your iPhone. How cool are you? Easy to do, a lot of fun, and why just hand someone a business card from your pocket when you can do it like Bond? "The best way to produce a business card I've ever seen - probably one of the best iPhone Apps I've seen incorporating magic!" - Paul Romhany "LOVE that!!!" - Gregory Wilson From Carl R Andrews, Inc. Tried this out earlier today, works exactly as you see in the video. It's a simple and fun little idea, I'll be using this from time to time. Great job Carl.

Thanks Mauricio very much the app has been
getting great reviews from all the Pro's who are using it! I love watching peoples eyes pop out if their heads when the business card is produced I usually perform my "No Freakin Way" app, leaving them with the phone in their hand and amazed. During that time I cop a business card and I am ready for BizCardMagic making it even stronger. Thanks again and enjoy! Carl http://www.mojosoftwareonline.com |

Can I use this with an itouch? I'm wondering how I would get the image in?

Cesar you take a digital photo of your business card and put in on your computer and sync it with iTunes to your iPod Touch, very easy, works great!

I did this for my mother last night and she wanted to know how many cards the phone could hold.

Jay that is really funny!!! I too found that many times when I do the trick people actually believe the business card comes out of the phone, and why wouldn't they

Can you make the card shrink and grow using the two finger pinch? Here is an idea for others: Cut a blank piece of card stock the same as your card - Show your business card via DL (from a small stack. Put the blank card stock on the screen (supposidly face down) right after you push print (you have two seconds) ..... Then it looks like the phone scanned your card because the "card" it turns blank - then "Print it out" This way you can tell people it's a Scanner AND a Printer!!!

Jay thanks for the ideas, I will give them some thought. I am not sure about the blank card idea because it requires me to carry more stuff around and I like to travel as light as possible. In my pocket is one business card and an iPhone…done But I like your thinking and always appreciate suggestions. Let me ask you why would the card shrink and grow? Not sure I get that one. I just print it, move it, and produce it, why complicate that? Maybe if I understand where you are going with that I would get it. Thanks again.

If you shrink and grow the card then they "know" fir sure that the image is electronic. That way the customer won't have any suspicions you hid a real card in the phone. The appearance of the real card is a greater mystery.
If not, then savvy people will see the image then see the card and realise what happened. Shrinking the card gives them a second action for them to focus on as a red herring. When you make the card the correct size again. This is the "Downbeat". That is the moment they will blink and perfect for your timing.... assuming that someone is burning you. I saw someone do the same thing with an African Hissing Cochroach. It was running around the springboard (Bugs in the phone) then she pulled the phone away and there was the bug... mystery over. Had she turned the bug different colors or shrunk it, I would have been more baffled.

I see Jay, well the way I do it is to just move the card around the screen a little before producing it and then watch the spectators eyes pop out of their heads
I actually think the shrinking and growing, in this effect, takes away from the moment and the believability that the card just printed on the screen is produced from out of the phone. The way it is done now, as you said that you mother asked how many cards does the phone hold, they actually many times believe it! Not sure I would mess with it but will give it some thought and appreciate your comments and suggestions. Aloha, Carl PS Please remember to comment and rate on iTunes, thanks in advance! |

BizCard Magic will run on the iPhone or iPod touch. I don't know anything about the iTouch, I did not know they existed and thought you meant iPod touch. Sorry about that, I have not tested on an iTouch or even know what it is

Itouch is what some people call and iPod touch. Same thing.

Well if it is the iPod Touch, BizCard Magic will work just fine on the iPod Touch.
