Does anyone happen to know if this is "Glorpy" under another name or if it's a different effect altogether? Thanks!

It is not Glorpy, it is a different trick altogether. It is not Glorpy or Hyrum the Haunted Hank. It is more of a stage effect.
If you are looking for Hyrum, then go to http://www.stoners.com , I know they carry it as a regular item in stock. |

William - Thanks for the confirmation. There's a neat Casadega Cabinet-style routine in one of Ormond McGill's booklets that mentions the use of the Abbott's Haunted Hank, and it did sound different from Hyrum, which I do already have (or as my 1970's model was called, "Spooky").
