Dear all
I enjoy Extreme Burn alot. I find that its one of the most visual bill change. Something just stuck my mind recently. Are we able to perform Extreme Burn with Plastic Bill? As far as I know, all Australian Bills are made plastic. Those plastic bill have also some small part (usually at a corner) where its transparent. I'm really really curious if any Australian magician performs Extreme burn with the plastic Australian bills? |

This is such a pity...
and I guess in the next 100years, paper money will become extinct. There must be a way to perform it on plastic bills. |

The way the United States keeps changing our currency worries me.
I'm just enjoying performing Extreme Burn for as long as our bills are all the same size. I haven't seen an Aussie bill ,but it sounds impossible to perform this effect with these bills. Sammy

Its possable, to do a version, here is what I ended up doing. I scaned a 5 on both sides went onto photoshop cut out the whole middle bit so I only had the border of the bills about 1/2cm. I did this because a $5 is bright purple and with magazine clippings I was always flashing a bit of purple in the packet.
so then you print 5 of these double sided border only bills and make up the gimmick. But before you do that get the real bills that you are going to use and put the folds in them and leave them between 3-4 reallly heavy books atleast over night then the folds should hold for a couple of days. after all that experimenting I just ended up going back to a normal tt bill switch because the folds would come out, plastic is slipery and things whould slip out of place just a general pain |

In the ad, it says:
"Works with every currency." Its a big claim. I guess it does, but with a lot of hard work for AUD's, from what liampower said. I'm glad I didn't get it. liampower, you said the plastic would slip... you could use a paper copy of the money? Just a suggestion. |

I purchased EB 2.0
This will not work with our aussie notes they are plastic and different sizes, I tried it and failed, even tried paper to $5 notes and because of the plastic it just won't work. Thought I might use US notes and explain they change into $20's because paper is easy to counterfeit this is why we use plastic money,or something along those lines, that might take the heat off why I am using US notes. So to anyone else out there from downunder this unfortunately won't work with our notes. :-( |

It won't work with a note to note change but I am currently getting "gift vouchers" made to do a change to notes using Extreme Burn. It should play as well as a money to money change and, if logos are added it would make a good promo giveaway as well.I f anyone is interested, PM me.

Canada just switched to these new polymer bills with transparent parts. Bites the big one. One of my favorite effects useless now.
