Steez, you can earn your medical degree, get a job in the best hospital in the world, save lives....and I'll still be more interesting than you will be! Neener neener.
Smudgedj (I had a guard working for me named Mudge, when HR heard us call him that they thought we were calling him a name), luckily I was a petty officer when they started enforcing the cinderella liberty but that was for the lower ranks. Thus I was drunk all the time. |

ETHICS? Anyone? Trump has been bankrupt more times than I can remember and looking at how great his casino and TV show career is going, I can not understand why he still gets what he gets from public speaking. Have I mention Amway at any point in time. Just to clarify my opinion, Amway on its own is a pretty good business. What gets on my nerves is that the 'winners' in the business makes more from speaking and books and tapes than from the actual business. Isn't there a problem somewhere? |

I'm still hung up on "old and bored." It is because young people are bored that they spend so much on vicarious entertainment. What's boring to me is standing in long lines listening to people on their cell-phones talk about how bored they are with life. By the way -- how does someone on food-stamps afford unlimited call service? The key is that if you can't entertain yourself no amount of money is going to help. If you don't like yourself, lots of money will only make it obvious faster.

Additionally, many companies offer a free phone with sign up. Lots of people are discontinuing their land-lines entirely in favor of their cell phone. The best way to retire with One Million Dollars is to start with One Billion Dollars.
After that, it's all downhill.

In all seriousness. A simple and successful way for a middle-income earner to save a million dollars is to
1. Save off the top of each paycheque (10% is a likely amount). 2. Live within your means (there are few reasons to carry debt outside of a mortgage). 3. Be patient. You are unlikely to get rich any other way. John
