Hi,
Can anybody shed any 'light' (sorry) on this Lee Earle item? The performer puts a flash bulb into a cut crystal glass, then proceeds to send energy/waves to it until the bulb flashes. Bulb & glass are examinable. Sounds intriguing, but I can't find a review anywhere.

If it's the method I think (actually I know of two, one being the "REAL" thing...) I don't know who the originator was, but, if it's Lee, at least one of the methods I know of, goes back to early '80.

Sorry Lior, where did you get 'die' from? just bulb and glass, no dice?
Lord of Horses; may I ask, if it's one of those two methods, would it be suitable for a hobbyist to perform? I know that's a bit of a broad statement but 'generally'?

The problem, for what I know, could be to find the needed flash bulbs...

I believe I had one. It was sort of practical but, as Paolo observed, the particular flash bulbs may no longer be made.

Collectors Workshop put out two versions...one for the hand and one in a book.

Bill Herz has a good one in his book, "Secrets of the Astonishing Executive". Good luck finding the cube bulbs though.
