Ben, I don't get it. What's that got to do with SNL? I didn't see it tonight but what's the poop? One of the skits was about magic? Fill me in mang! Did I miss out on some good old fashioned make fun of the magi?

The skit was too people, in disco outfits, doing D'Light- and you could hire them to appear at various functions... some appropriate (weddings) and some not so much (while getting arrested).
It wasn't great, but it was amusing. Ben

You know, Rocco Silano is a heck of a magician. A shame he will be remembered for those things.
Then again, his bank account is happy. Ahimsa, Vlad. PS: Ben, what is up with the project? IM me please? |

Vlad you say it like its a bad thing, its a great effect for anyone starting in magic, it just became commercial. Its like a modern Svengali deck

I suppose the D'Lights are o.k. But if you had to demo them day in and day out over a course of eight hours a day five days a week, for ten years you would be very tired of them too. Even if they were used in a comedy sketch. Even when I first had seen them I thought "Cute but it's not that great of a magic effect".
B.t.w. The first ones to perform the effect that D'lites are based on. Was a Russian couple who actually won F.I.S.M. They were the first every Grand Prix co winners along side Ger Cooper. |

I use them very briefly in my show in my opening routine. People gasp when I pull a blue light out of a plasma lamp and then light my candles ala Harry Potter by throwing the light I pulled from the lamp at them.
Peace and Godspeed.
Peace

I used to Demo those 72 hours a week and sold thousands, still think its a great effect to boost confidence and a simple way to amaze people, plus its open to many different presentation ideas.
Great effect for anyone want to start off in magic. |
