I'll never forget a side show act in a tent I caught as a child. It was a beautiful woman in a leopard skin bathing suit that slowly transformed into a gorilla right before our eyes. The gorilla started playing with the lock then a strobe light went off and she broke out of the cage and ran into the audience.
Needless to say there was a me sized hole in the side of the tent where I flew out faster than the speed of light. Probably should have had therapy after that, I guess I'll have to settle for scaring others with my re-animator. |

"It was on a dreary night of November that I beheld the accomplishment of my toils. With an anxiety that almost amounted to agony, I collected the instruments of life around me, that I might infuse a spark of being into the lifeless thing that lay at my feet. It was already one in the morning; the rain pattered dismally against the panes, and my candle was nearly burnt out, when, by the glimmer of the half-extinguished light, I saw the dull yellow eye of the creature open; it breathed hard, and a convulsive motion agitated its limbs."

Yes - Frankenstein is my real justification for getting this as it will fit right in with the Frankestein section of my program. Love that quote Prof.

Last night I dreamed of the re-Animator. Its lights pulsating, the sounds reverberating through the room, the steam coming out of the vent, and the BAT--the lovely bat being brought back to life only for a moment an intense moment!

I also dreamed about the zoo and how the filthy rich paid me off to have the zoo closed so the Golf Course could thrive!

Hey Denn et al.
Don't know if it's been mentioned yet but maybe someone could start really small to show how it works...like with an fly or ladybug that eventually comes back to life and flys around the class before it's released (or smashed depending on how cruel and dark you want to be...) Then you bring out the other animals.... The Karma on that won't be pretty, won't be pretty at all......

'"Behold," said Geppetto, and there he saw the old puppet cast down upon a chair with his hat turned to one side, his arms hanging limp and the legs crossed and lying athwart . . . Pinocchio was startled by the sight of it, and after regarding it a little, he said to himself with great satisfaction: <<Com'ero buffo, quand'ero burattino! e come ora son contento di essere diventato un ragazzino perbene!>> (when I was a fool, then was I a puppet, and now I am content to become a real boy).'
The final lines of Pinocchio, one of the world's great reanimation tales. The (very free) translation is my own with sincere apologies to Collodi. Eddie, as you are no fool, you need never desire to become a real boy.
