Thought I would just post a note about the above book(s), I just received mine today. The set details the history of one of magic's leading illusion builders.
The set consists of 2 oversize books of over 250 pages each, a folder with 10 DVD's all in a hard slip cover. While it does not include much on the illusions built by Thayer or Owen, it does include a lot of detail about the "in between" smaller illusions you would have found in the big shows of "back then". It is very well illustated, similar to the "Albo" books. It is a great history of Thayers, and continues into Owens, with an index of folks that have contributed to the reputation of this great magic builder. If you have the 2 volume "Keep The Wheels Turning" from Owens these make a great addition. Blair ( Http://www.ultimatethayer.com ) P.S. If you buy your books by the pound, these come in at over 10 pounds!!! LOL
