Can anyone offer an opinion on this trick?

From the description, it sounds like a typical C&R rope trick, with the only difference being the color of the rope and the addition of tassels.

It say that the rope is cut in the middle and with the price I would assume (I know, not good to) that it's a gimmick rope with either s**ps or ma***ts where as the 'cut' is feigned. In which the rope cannot be examined.

I could be wrong. ;-)

The ropes cannot be examined, but not for the reason you think.
