Would have done it this weekend. Problem is that my routine needs a spectator and my wife is *incredibly* camera shy.

Working on what I can do to get around that...

Oh! I thought you had one!

Sorry!

I misplaced my camera but I got a little flip video camera. I'll shoot the demo this weekend!

I should mention that normally when I perform this I do it with patter. I notice that most Tenyo demo video are silent with music.

Is it alright that I do it the way I perform it?

One fo the things I love about the See Through Card is that, unlike many Tenyo illusions, this is one that does lend itself to actual parlor performance as part of a show.

Cyberqat, I must admit I am more intriqued then ever to witness the "See Through Card" routine that fools your engingeer and professor friends along with your wife and her fellow masters students. In my circle of hobo friends this would be viewed as a cute puzzling novelty. I am eagerly waiting to be enlightened.

This post may seem harsh but quite honestly after reading your post on the ghost lamp where you discussed expaining the effect to your wife, I threw up a little in my mouth. By the way very nice of your wife to help the "unwashed" of society.. yes I am being sarcastic. I am not sure you realize how demeaning that post was.

I'm still waiting pleased to see this video and I am sure the result will be very good and I am still very happy that someone took the time to make a nice video of a Tenyo trick.

Alright, here is a quick video I shot with my wife.

Less then ideal conditions but I think it gives the gist. I hope no one is disappointed. Spielberg it isn't Smile

If anyone was curious about the force, by the way.

The box of cards is set-up with the 5 of diamonds on the top. I palm it off when I take the cards out and then drop it back on the top when I take them back from the spectator.

The force itself is a top-card force that Bill Tarr calls a "riffle force" and can be found on page 40 of his book "Now You See It, Now You Don't."

Excellent, thank you! I really like the way you force the card by the way (especially the 'turn over' move), very convincing Smile

Yes I'm happy too ! it's just annoying that the " video player" included in the blog is not great, and the result would have been better if the video came from Youtube for example.

I could upload a copy to youtube if you like.

I've always disliked the way youtube compresses things but I have no problem doing that for you if its how you'd prefer it.
