I just noticed a lot of my hand outs have wrong web-site address on it,,
Anyone can help me getting a cheap web site to just direct to my good one? I really need to know how to do it, not that good in doing things like this Thanks so much in advance Don |

1. Purchase the web address that's printed on your handouts.
You can do so at godaddy or hostmonster for about 10 bucks. This is the very first thing you should do if you don't already own the domain name that's printed on your handouts. 2. Hostmonster/Godaddy will send you login information to manage your new domain name. Login to the account and go to the system control panel. 3. Use the redirect domain feature to have that domain point to your real website with your info. For example: http://www.wrongaddress.com --> redirect to --> http://www.rightaddress.com This is the least expensive way to do this. You could also purchase hosting along with your domain name and then create an index.html file with redirect code to do the same thing. Of course, then you'd have to pay the $50 / year or whatever they charge for hosting. The code for the entire html file would look something like this: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252" /> <META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="2;URL=http://www.rightaddress.com"> <title>Enter Your Title Here</title> </head> <body> </body> </html>
