When I bought mine several years ago, it came with 5 effects.
I see it recently advertised for sale with 10 effects. Can anyone provide me with the new instructions, so I can broaden my use of this set? Thanks

I bought one here about 2 months ago. It was sold as being new. And it only has five routines on the two sided sheet of instructions.

I have one and have only seen one routine done with it that I like. However, this one was not written up, but it made me seek out a used one. Although it has sat in the drawer looking for the routine to rescue it.

Mark mason developed some great routines for his "miracle" chip using the same principle. The DVD that comes with the chip will really get your creative juices flowing - and the gaff is pretty cool as well.
BTW I've seen it sold on the Café and eBay for a lot less than the $99 retail price. Regards, Alan |

If you ask Funsway, he is making a full book about it (and he is a gentleman as well)

I believe that Ken is writing a book on the Tango Ultimate Coin (TUC). I don’t know that he is doing anything with Coin Unique.
Thanks! Jim |

I just bought the Miracle Chip from a real nice Café member and I have to admit it is really really nice. The dvd has some great ideas on it.

I actually prefer the Miracle Chip for most of the routines I would use the coin unique for - IMO the chip is more visual than a half dollar when the quarter or half (you can get the miracle chip in either version) appears in a crystal glass.
As to routines, when I use the coin unique I try to take heat off the coins by using ungaffed but magical looking items with them. For instance, I found a really neat looking acrilic jewelry box on ebay about 3 x 3 in. that is shaped and looks like a clear jewel. The interior of the jewelry box is cylindrical and flat-bottomed. I carefully put the two coins in the bottom of the jewelry box and let the spectators see the coins before I screw on the top. Invariably, all of the interest is on the box after the trick, never on the coin unique. I think I bought the jewelry box for $3.75. My best bargain ever in magic. Regards, Alan |
