Semiconductor assembly outside Ipoh. My main thing was working with customs, the official Malaysain warehouse system, and the truckers (cost more to truck due to security issues than to fly the material in and out).

No, everyone I dealt with spoke English. We had one guy who came over to the states all the time and all the management types would take him to Malaysian restaurants....as if that was what he wanted. He would come see me and we would hit diners and sit at the counter and eat burgers and steaks and he loved it. He wanted to experience the US not go hang out with food and people from where he just flew out of. Malaysia is a tough place to do business, at least it isn't criminal like Indonesia.
