Hello there,
Since I want to buy one of these gimmick. I need opinions from all master in this Café. What is their strength and weaknesses between blink or the hawk 2.0 Or maybe there are other gimmicks that have the same effect. |

There are other posts in here about Blink, by Mark Mason; is that the Blink you are asking about? If so, I have it and if you do it closeup, as has been said in other posts, folks can see the gimmick. Me? I don't use it. Sometimes the gimmick sticks. Can't perform somethng I'm not certain about. I paid $14 for it and I'll probably end up selling it at some point in an auction lot on that place we all hate. Am not familiar with the Hawk.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

Not sure about Blink, but have a friend who has Hawk.....not good for the working professional, very bad angles on th gimmick!......bit over-priced just to play with methinks.....others may disagree, no problem with that, just going on what I was shown.

I purchased Blink years ago, and the fact is it sits in my junk drawer. Just NOT what it was cracked up to be.

Blink, I see from ads, has been reworked, so it's not the same as it was years ago.

I wonder if they'll trade in my old one which has hardly been used for the newer version?

I have the original and as someone else here mentioned, mine is also in the junk drawer. I remember I was really shocked at the time I received this packet.
I'm very curious how it improved in the second version. Rgds Serge |

None. they are both great ideas but they are not very practical in close up performances. Mine just got thrown back on the shelf.
