I didn't know where to post this
but I found it really funny is magician-infotainer Joel Bauer giving a 20minute speech on travelling as boring as it sounds, it isn't, this guy is really incredible I am a fan since his business card viral video, this one is just as good http://cajunboyinthecity.blogspot.com/20......ost.html this guy is so inlove with himself |

Solid information for the working pro.
While it's been discussed so many times before, the business card video is part of a longer movie where Joel was hired by the director to play a character (an exaggerated version of his trade show personality). It's fun and entertaining, I agree. But, there is also an entire course of information in that video for those that pause to absorb WHAT is being communicated as opposed to HOW it's being communicated. As someone who is traveling more regularly now as part of performing, I found the travel video very helpful. |

I'm with Scott on this one. Found myself nodding in agreement quite frequently. Love the vest! Gotta order one or two for myself.

I think that Doug may pack more into a smaller bag. There is one on his travel site that he endorses:
http://www.onebag.com/business-bags.html I've seen other travelers/travel blogs endorse not only that bag, but Doug as well. |

Yes, I am aware of Doug's site, that is why I am interested in what he would have to say about Joel's method.
Joel seems to have a lot of stuff! Even Karate pants! Gotta love that!

Wow....I'm speechless....amazed at how much thought he's put into his gear and astounded that he's thoroughly convinced there is an audience that cares to know about it. Humph!.?.! I guess I'm part of his audience.

It's funny... on the site that the video is on... there are A LOT of negative comments. I'm not sure I "get" it. The guy IS a bit pedantic; but a lot of real good information is put out there. (Not sure I agree with the whole "business card" thing... but that is a different video)
I found the video useful... and I would certainly not make any derogatory comments about it (or him). But maybe there is a bigger picture I'm missing...(I don't know "Joel Bauer"...never heard of him before this thread I stumbled upon...) Michael |

I laughed all the way through the video and then found myself bookmarking all of the sites for the scotte vest, etc . . . . as I travel for a living and thought the ideas were great.
Did you guys notice he set his vitamins up like bowling pins as he said he likes to bowl a perfect game?? Great stuff - still made me laugh though. |

Hey Zombie!
Yeah, that's the first place I looked. You'll note it doesn't load. Not on any Mac, mobile, nor PC platform, anyway. Anybody got a back-up copy? km
