Karl Bartoni has informed me that Dragonskull is now up and running once
again!

Like Lazarus or the Phoneix rising once again. In large measure due to
the tireless work and skills of Chris Walden.

Thank you Chris for this tremendous gift.

We all owe both of these dedicated bizarrists a vote of thanks for all
their efforts in returning Dragonskull to us, and to its rightful place.

Spread the word. Dragonsjukll is alive and well .

Well done gentlemen !

Norton still gives a warning about this site but at least firefox actually lets you in. Still very wary! any other way of knowing that the site is safe?

Norton may not have updated their analysis of the site. There's nothing I can find on the Norton Safe Web site that indicates how long ago the automated analysis of Dragonskull took place. It may just be old information. There's a link for site owners to click on - maybe the site owner of Dragonskull can request an updated analysis?

With Nod32, there isn't any warning.

Great news to see this place back from his ashes.

Here are the facts concerning Dragonskull and ant lingering fears you may have over going to it. This info comes direct from Karl Bartoni himself:

Hello.
as Ron posted, Dragonskull is back up and running.

HOWEVER there are a few things you should be aware of when visiting the site
through a search engine such as Google.

Firstly, if any of the links in a search engine results list has a description
about music, machines or Spain, don't click on them as they are sites which my
infected site wanted a vistor to go to and they contain possible infections. Your
browser of Internet security program should not allow you to go to these pages
anyhow BUT NOTE, these are the residue from the June infections and not new
infections.

Secondly, and again in search engine results. Many links to Dragonskull and many
other sites also give the option to click on 'cached'. Cached is an area where
Google for instance has stored past pages that appeared on the site.
Unfortunately, Google has put the old infected pages into this 'cached' area and
there is no way to remove them, only time will do this. Don't click on 'cached'
and if you do then your browser or Internet protection program should stop you in
your tracks. AGAIN, this is not an indication that Dragonskull is newly infected,
it's a snap shot of how it was when infected.

Phase one of getting dragonskull ( http://www.dragonskull.co.uk ) back on the net has
involved a lot of help and expertise from Chris Walden for which I am grateful.
Phase two will be more difficult but will happen in due course.

Karl.

A new, recent email from Karl Bartoni as follows;

I was told to read things on Magic Café and again many thanks for posting my
second mail about dragonskull. I found the suggestion about me contacting Norton
very helpful. I can assure everyone that Norton's results are old and all those
infections/threats no longer exist on the server. To be specific, there were 502
potential threats on the site and rather than try to remove all of them from the
site, I had the site wiped off the server and then the server itself wiped and
reformatted before the original sqeaky clean backup site was re installed.

Wherever you see www. dragonskull.co.uk followed by /drago/ followed by any of
the following names : magic, maine, mailto, madrid, machines, mechanics, lyrics etc
OR any interesting looking websites that include dragonskull.co.uk/drago/ in their
name, these are old links which no longer resdide on my site or server.

I've mentioned about the cached files in Google/search engines and they are slowly
changing. However this will take quite some time to be completed as there are
hundreds of pages and thousands of files within dragonskull to be crawled through.

Please thank everyone for their patience in waiting for the site to return and for
their nice comments.

All best wishes,
Karl.

Things on search engines are now starting to return to normal and slowly those
cached areas I mention are changing too. HOWEVER, anyone using Norton will still
get alerts and be blocked from the site. As usual, Norton is slow at updating
their info and all the threats that they say are on the site have been removed
from site and server. Google has detected this and so have AVG and all the latest
browsers.

If you can't get to the site because you have Norton installed then you will have
to wait a little longer until Symantec realise the changes.

Good News, a final clearing message concerning the Dragonskull UK site:
Dragonskull has now recieved a clean bill of health from Norton. I have also been
advised that if anyone using Norton still gets the 'blocked' page up they need to
click on their browser 'refresh' button a few times.

Norton has now given the Dragonskull UK site an absolute clean bill of health.

For all who were previously concerned, know it is safe to return to its pages and forums. In your travels you will discover the news that Chris WAlden will soon be creating a radio program called THE SHADOW HOUR, on the Dragonskull site.

Good and exciting news for all BIzarrists.
WE have been told to look in old magic books to find new tricks. I believe the same holds true to listening to old radio programs. Their tales of mystery and horror pave a path of inspiration and creativity we are allowed to travel.

Been reading there for a few days now, no problems of any kind. I am shocked at what I had been missing!! Thank you Ron, Carl, Chris, Brother Shadow, DeNomolos, and all the others who have fixed and provided such rich content, to the Dragonskull site. Felt like a homecoming-!

Balaram, I had absolutely nothing to do with repairing the infected site. Chris and Karl handled all of that. The longer you spend investigating the resource, the more incredible it seems. Fun too to look through the Who's Who section and discover what some of the people behind the name actually look like. The Memorial Areas for individuals such as Charles Cameron, Larry White and Gene Poinc, is incredible!
It 'is a homecoming, most certainly my brother .
Can you believe, someone actually attempted to destroy it!

Good news indeed that this wonderful resource is back. Any bizarrist not checking out the site will be losing some great stuff by Ed Solomon and many others,
