A lot of this material has been covered by Jeff McBride already on his card manipulation DVDs. Would be interesting to see what this new set offers. The running times seem awfully high for the small set list as well.

I added this to my wishlist. It looks awesome and Sheridan is such a smooth dude! I also have the McBride set on my wishlist, so I'm also waiting to hear what's different.
This one looks interesting because they have a teach in with Jay Noblezada, which I always think is cool so you can "learn with another person". The long times may be due to high detail in teaching methinks.

I 'think' Sheridan was one of McBride's mentors/teachers. He's quite the technician, so there wold be gems on the set.

Magicians seek out Jeff Sheridan because he has dedicated his life to the pursuit of perfection in the ART of card manipulation.
The Sheridan Course is comprehensive and thorough. It starts with Jeff's theories on manipulation and the true 'art' of magic all the way through, step-by-step each of the manipulations that he's mastered over the last 50 years. With tons of tips, touches and updated techniques along the way. The teach-in session included after each move is taught is a great learning tool. Jay Noblezada joins Jeff on stage and learns each move with the master. These are most certainly some of the most physically difficult techniques in magic, so making it the clearest course in card manipulation was our highest priority. After being in studio helping to film it, all I can say is wow. Jeff Sheridan has golden hands. And he apparently keeps a full-grown peacock in his pack of cards. Seriously though, he has the best fan I've ever seen. |

Now I'm torn between this and Jeff McBride's manipulation discs. The only thing missing in the Sheridan course is 'Diminishing cards', though it can be learnt from books as well.

I have to say, I got an advance look at these dvd's and Sheridan goes into SO much detail. Honestly the price seems pretty low for what you get. I've only watched the first volume, but I'm really looking forward to getting a chance to watch the others. Great stuff if you're interested in getting into card manip. Sheridan is a true MASTER.

This set is absolutely great and will also inspire you to put a card manipulation routine into you act. Sheridian shares some of his own moves, variations, and ideas about how to put a routine together. I would say that it is definitely worth getting this set. If in doubt (and if you love the subject) just get both sets, McBride and Sheridian's.

I picked up both sets and both are excellent teachers. Card manipulation isn't easy so I figured I need all the help I could get.
