Why the heck does a guy from the central Pennsylvania Dutch country want to know about California magicians for?

He's attending college there to get a degree of questionable value.

What college do you go to? My daughter went to Millersville University right out side of Lancaster. There are a lot of other good schools in central Pennsylvania.

I got it. This is a young college student from the Lancaster Pennsylvania Dutch country who is going to school at Fullerton in California studying questionable values. I guess that there are not a lot of schools that offer a major in questionable values.

Right. Now lets clear our minds for a moment....why WOULDN'T a kid from Lancaster, PA, a town known for nothing but the Amish, want to go to school in California? It would have made no sense if he had the chance and didn't attend. Now he can learn stuff like "stage left" and "stage right", cool stuff like that.

You taught there too.... with all the thousands of theater grads you came up with John George? One of my nephews is going to 'film school' at a university that doesn't have a film school, so it could be worse. I'd suggest business with a minor in theater if he must. The reason is most successful guys had to get money to pay for their school and had to produce a business plan.
(subnote: my other nephew and niece that are college age are in the sciences, bless them) |

I'll bet that Fullerton doesn't even offer a degree in questionable values.

I knew that....I was saving it up for mentalism years from now. So tell me, do either of you regret not moving to Lancaster to spend the Winter in school?

Too bad you didn't make the move a few years ago; there was a great bookstore that specialized in magic books and was very close to the university, on Commonwealth (Aladdin Books).

Sorry, clarification: It's Lancaster, CA I am from. Which is still worth running away from, like I did. I am at CSU-Fullerton studying theatre.
Good to know some great people passed through these halls! Oh, thanks for the suggestions, LobowolfXXX! Soooo, we had a floor meeting in my dorm, and the president of the Resident Student Association said the magician they have used in the past has been AMAZING. Does anyone here do shows for the CSUF Resident Student Association?
