What does F.I.S.M. stand for? I know what it is, but I couldn't seem to find what the abbreviation was for. Also, where does this event occur each year? I tried to type it in a search engine but just got back a whole bunch of things un-related to magic.

Mago Mai's answer is in Spanish. I believe the name to be in French (as is common with many international organizations): Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques.
Translated into English, it is "International Federation of Magic Associations" (more or less). According to one website, "FISM holds a convention every three years, in a variety of countries." Click here for the link that I just quoted from --Rick |
