Could someone give me the name of some reputable card magicians on the Café? I have an ebook that I sent to a magic website and they said that they like the effect, but they want me to check with someone else to ensure that the method for this effect is new. Thanks!

Have you thought about posting a video? You won't have to expose the effect, but that way a lot of people could see it in practice.
