I'm taking a long train ride in a few days (to see MagicSanta) and I'd like to have some movies for the trip. What's a good source for legal (and cheap) movie downloads online?

I don't have a source, but I wanted to commend you on restricting your choice to legal downloads.

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley.

I've used it quite a bit for classics. I haven't found it all that easy to use for simply finding something interesting, but if you know exactly what you're looking for it's excellent.

I use Amazon Unbox.
You can either buy or rent with it.
Sometimes it's cheap, sometimes it isn't. Kind of depends what you are looking for.
I downloaded a couple episodes of "Dhani Tackles the Globe" for 1.99 so it also depends on your definition of cheap.

I don't know if you can load them onto your computer but Hulu has lots of movies and tv shows, can you stream on a train?

Didn't the bad guy in "Under Siege 2" have Wi-Fi on the train?

Seems Conrail has wi fi and amtrack is in the process of getting it. On Under Siege 2 didn't they use satellite?

Amtrak just told me that wifi's not available for any part of my trip.

I know he had the Sat-Com thing in the first one... Dunno. Been a while.
You could also just check out some dvd's from the library if your laptop plays them, which I think they all do now.
