I am heading out to Las Vegas for Jeff McBrides Focus on School Magic! Very excited about the weekend in October. Any others going out to be going there, or been in the past? I am looking forward to listening and learning from Jeffs wealth of experience and also his guest lecturer - Mario Morris.

I like the idea of it being "hands on" where you actually can go out
in the streets to do the stuff you learned.

Sounds awesome. I wouldn't mind hearing about others past experience.

Loved your lecture out there in Middletown, NJ. on the Street Stuff.

I know I said this already, but I think this is great concept where you teach
the stuff, help people work on it, and take 'em out to the streets to put it
to use.

I saw another thread where they did something similar with Gazzo, Busker's Boot
Camp....wouldn't mind checking that one out too.

My only issue (or maybe not) is knowing what to bring. Never flew with my props
before...

I won't be at the school but I'll be watching for you guys at the Faire over the weekend!

I do wish I was going on this weekend but I am on holiday with my family.

But how do you pack up your table without getting it destroyed in luggage and
costing an arm and a leg? Or should I just leave that home and see if I can
borrow one?

See if you can borrow one or if you use keyboard stand it will pack small enough to go in checked baggage. You can also bring material for top of your table top and just go to Home Depot and get them to cut you new one. Last option is to ship it.

Trying not to go too far off topic, but that would be a good idea to have a throw away table of sorts. What I mean is, get cheap keyboard or restaurant caddy, with a simple board to go to lectures or anytime you need to use the airlines or a situation where you will not have direct control of your equipment. So if it is lost (stolen?) or destroyed, you still have your primary table.
