Does anyone recognize this chop cup/bell/vase or whatever you might call it?

It's a gift from my wife. She bought it on ebay, but too long ago for me to look up who the seller was or anything about it. It's a nice little ______________, anyway.

It looks like one of those toys/game where a ball on the end of a string is caught in the cup

Have you worked out a one cup routine for it? I think the cup is attractive and the routine could be too.

It is a beautiful item. I still don't know whether to call it a cup or not. I've had some fun playing with it, but no real routine yet. The gaff is in the top part, not the bottom. A gaffed ball will come out with the top or you can slide the top slightly to the side and leave the ball in the "cup." So, I can do ball vase thing with it or chop cup like moves, only using the top to determine if the ball is in the cup or not. I wish I knew who made it. It's possible it wasn't a commercial item.

Sounds like.... you should design a short routine that "looks" like a standard routine then steal-away the ball and make the other magicians crazy. definitely for a competition at the club
