Have you tried Restoration Hardware? They arent cheap but they specialize in old furniture hardware.

If it's for a small box you might want to look into dollhouse stuff. I bought some small lions foot brass feet from a vendor on ebay last year. Also Im sure you checked Lee Valley's hardware catalog???

The picture that just came to mind while reading this was small drawer pulls shaped either like claws, or even shaped like seashells. From a distance (and seen from the side), seashell designs should look almost the same.
And if you don't need too many pieces, you could sculpt them from epoxy putty or FIMO clay and custom paint them what ever color you want. |

Thanks,Everybody. Hardware for magic can be so hard to find online. Ray the ones at Kennedy look perfect.
I wish I could make them but I need about 100 and just don't have the time to do it. Thanks again,Gimpy

One source possibility...
Hobby Lobby, Old Time Pottery, and similar stores often carry wooden boxes, both finished and unfinished. If the price justifies doing so, they often have cool hardware that can be reclaimed for your own project. You can find things that you otherwise can't as individual items.

Gimpy, did you see the prices at Kennedy? Wow! $12 per piece? Wow again! What are you building that you are willing to spend $48 just on the (4?) feet?????

Chance,
I missed that, $48 bucks would blow the budget thought they were priceing a set. The kitkraft feet Ray posted are more inline at less than $6 for four. Michael, I love hobby lobby, One box had some real neat latches on it.Loved the hardware but it was to flimsy. So after hours of looking we were able to find the latches they had copied but in solid brass. We have bought hundreds of them. Gimpy

It doesn't say per set, it says "package contains one cast claw foot with mounting hardware". So what did you finally go with?

Gimpy,
The latches are flimsy, but some of the hinges are different and the corner brasses are nice for something ornamental... different than can be found in the hardware stores. Yes, the prices on the brass feet are extreme. They are not for the casual buyer of magic props. Personally, I'd save that treatment for custom pieces, and charge accordingly. Guys who are serious about wanting something that no one else has understand that exclusion comes with a price. Not everyone buys a Rolls Royce, but those who do, are usually not concerned with the cost. Their motives are different.

Michal,
I agree, and I have tons of dis mantled hobby lobby boxes. sometimes the price of a box there is only a few bucks and well worth the price for the hardware on it. Clinton, those are great prices thanks for the info. Man everybody has such great hardware sources, I am getting catalogs from all who will send them. Fancy feet......
