A free gift to the Café for Halloween
just request a copy from gusarimagic@comcast.net Grin Reaper An ideal Penetration effect for Halloween or Harvest celebrations, but a proper story of the "Grim Reaper” could make it suitable any time. EFFECT: an assistant hold up a sheaf of reeds, sticks, rushes, etc. between out-stretched hands, one above the other. The performer uses a garden sickle to cut through the sheaf in a single sweeping cut. The assistant repeats the stance except that this time a handkerchief, rope or necklace is also stretched between the hands and is visible at all times. With a swing the sickle cuts through the reeds but leaves the handkerchief unscathed. “All the people in the village were killed except one child who did a good deed.”
"the more one pretends at magic, the more awe and wonder will be found in real life." Arnold Furst

I had a strange dream where it was dark and coming out of a funeral, I had ashes in an urn. I poured some of the ash in a silver bowl and covered it with another bowl. I laid it on the stone and covered it with a shroud. The silver bowls rose under the cloth and travel around my hands and arms in a "zombie-like" fashion.
You'll have to show me your scythe effect, Funsway.
