Jealousy, backbiting, envy and spite – in the world of magic?
I am shocked, Sir; shocked that you would sully the pristine oasis of our magical domain!

Everything I've ever seen Shawn do is top shelf. I've never seen his Cups routine. And from what it sounds like, I never will . . . unless I see him do it live. And I agree, keeping one's killer stuff off YouTube confines the intellectual property thieves to ripping off cups and balls moves and jokes that have already been ripped off by people who saw other people rip them off.

He's a longtime friend and great performer... his new material, cups, etc. has moved him higher up the ladder.

Posted: Dec 27, 2010 2:39pm Shawn spends his entire day eating, sleeping and thinking magic. I think he has always been like that. He has an excellent, outgoing performance persona that isn't all that different from himself. This really makes for a killer combination. Shawn is one of the best. Period.

I'm looking forward to seeing his routine one day. And Bill, you are most certainly correct.

I understand that he is also quite generous with his time teaching young magicians. I don't think he sleeps!

Recently, I an opportunity to deal with Shawn and his deck switch. He responded to my emails in a speedy fashion and resolved my issue. Stand-up guy.

That deck switch is the berries -- the cat's pajamas -- the bee's knees.
Or as you young whippersnappers say -- way cool!

Saw his lecture at the IBM convention last July. Awesome! From his deck switch to torn photo to poker chip magic - great commercial material.

His thread of life story works based on the fact that it shares a metaphoric generous experience with the audience, more than just the emotional remembrance of a sweet person and pleasant facts: the thread of life.
Very smart. I hope that his take on the C&Bs (which I still have the pleasure to wait for discovering) is as meaningful, simple and direct
Magic is the art of emotionally sharing live impossible situations

I am so glad that I'm a member of the IBM Ring that he goes to, I've had the great pleasure to see it I think 2 or 3 times now in the past few months now and it is absolutely amazing, too bad I can't convince him to become my mentor so 1 day I might be as popular as he is right now
