Are there any street/stage hypnotists that apply the models listed in the book (Visual, Kinesthetic and Auditory) when deciding what induction they will use?
Or do you just use whatever inductions you have become comfortable with, without any reference to these models?
If you never fail, you're not trying hard enough.

All inductions use all "modalities" (not models) by default you don't have to think about it. It's already built in. They hear you talk...you give suggestions that have them picture or rehearse in their minds what going to happen...these you either touch them or tell them to focus on something which elicits feelings.
I use a specifi one when training that deliberately overlaps modalities in order to condition everyone in the room for deep trance. But I wouldn't use it for stage. |
